As well as fine McLaren Vale wines for tasting and sale, we also offer locals, wine tasters and tourists alike the opportunity to lunch in the 'Gedney' room at Ingleburne. We offer a 'tapas-style' menu, which allows lunchers to try a selection of dishes, or put themselves into our capable hands, and experience the morsels selection.

The menu focuses on the fusion of fresh ingredients using modern Australian cooking techniques. Offering tastes of regional food, the menu changes daily, according to availability, taking full advantage of the wealth of produce that emanates from the Fleurieu Peninsula, and beyond.

The Morsels Menu is created with wine in mind. The Penny's Hill, Mr. Riggs, and The Black Chook wines are available both by the glass or bottle, to be enjoyed in a leisurely fashion in the relaxed surroundings at Penny's Hill.

Lunchers can browse through the art gallery, lean idly over the stone walls or the post and rail fences and watch the thoroughbred black faced Suffolk sheep go about their business, or simply sit at tables under umbrellas in the spacious grassed area. The more energetic can work off their lunches on our petanque piste, under the tree right next to the ancient chook house, from which fresh eggs emanate daily.
